As a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Oncology, you will serve as a trusted scientific expert and partner representing Bayer in the medical community. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing scientific expertise and education on Bayer products to healthcare providers
  • Building long-term relationships with key stakeholders and thought leaders
  • Developing a deep understanding of national, regional, and local experts and stakeholders in specific therapeutic categories
  • Collaborating with internal business partners and external contacts to address scientific and educational needs
  • Identifying educational gaps and providing recommendations for educational resources
  • Delivering educational presentations to external audiences and stakeholders
  • Supporting research projects and clinical trials
  • Generating insights on HCP and stakeholder needs and preferences
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive medical strategy

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field
  • Experience in a scientific or healthcare clinical setting, or pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing, or Clinical Development
  • MSL experience is required
  • Demonstrated project management ability and expertise in communicating scientific information
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build productive relationships
  • Valid Driver's License and eligibility to drive a company car

Preferred qualifications include:

  • An advanced terminal Doctorate degree in medical or health sciences
  • Working knowledge of FDA and OIG requirements
  • Oncology experience

The salary range for this position is $156,000 to $234,000 per year, with additional compensation and benefits.
