Description
As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for conducting quality controls during the production process, on the final product, and on packaging materials. You will report to the QESH Manager and work in a 5-shift schedule, including regular weekend work.
Your tasks will include:
- Taking samples at various stages of the production process according to the applicable frequency;
- Identifying quality deviations (outside specifications) and performing additional measurements if necessary;
- Recording the findings and outcomes of quality controls;
- Identifying trends and advising production management;
- Keeping used means and equipment for quality measurements and work environment clean, and signalling any necessary maintenance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and able to work independently;
- To be confident and able to take responsibility;
- A completed level 2 education and relevant work experience in the food industry;
- Experience with automated data processing and taking the right actions when noticing deviations;
- A focus on quality;
- Proficiency in Dutch language in writing and speaking, as well as the ability to perceive colours; English language skills are a plus.
