Senior Business Operations Engineer, Air Dominance & Strike

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.

The goal of Anduril's Air Dominance and Strike Division is to fundamentally reshape the way future peer-to-peer conflicts are fought by developing next-generation Collaborative Combat Aircraft, missiles, and the Mission Autonomy software.

We're looking for ambitious, strategic engineers that want to build to accelerate every step of the way. We need someone to develop and implement operational software solutions that leverage data and AI to build and operate our products rapidly, at scale.

Responsibilities

• Set project impact, prioritization, and timelines
• Build and grow a team of engineers, lead by example, as we grow and scale our business and field operations
• Partner with senior leaders to bring structure, insight, and velocity to Anduril's highest-priority operational challenges
• Embed with various engineers to understand their workflows and locate their critical problems and bottlenecks
• Identify, structure, and leverage various data systems that enable us to build tailored data-driven solutions
• Develop operational apps in a scrappy but effective way, work closely with users to iterate and support outcomes
• Build systems and infrastructure that allow applications to mature, roll out, and scale in the field
• Work closely with Anduril's corporate Analytics team to expand our ontologies and generalize our data and workflow applications across the entire company

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical operating roles
• Proven delivery of a project end-to-end from ambiguity to a deliverable, scalable outcome
• Leadership experience, with the ability to lead through influence and build high-performing teams
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a similar field
• Deep intellectual interest in the intersection of analytics and the physical world
• Motivated by Anduril's mission and focused on business impact
• Experience with Python, SQL, React, TypeScript, or equivalent
• Exposure to data systems such as dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, Palantir Foundry
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
