ASEAN/APDM Homologation Engineer

As an ASEAN/APDM Homologation Engineer at Ford, you will plan, obtain, and maintain type approval certificates for vehicles and components in specific ASEAN and APDM markets.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Preparing and submitting required documentation, including technical files, test results, and type approval certificates
• Delivering guidance on regulatory and quasi-regulatory requirements
• Interfacing with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance
• Representing Ford externally with authorities and distributors
• Supporting regulation engineers in monitoring regulation movements and cascading information to relevant teams

The ideal candidate will have:

• A diploma or degree in engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of work experience
• Familiarity with automotive regulations and homologation processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key measurements for this position include creating comprehensive homologation plans, achieving on-time homologation, and maintaining existing vehicle approvals.
