As a Supplier Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the components and assemblies delivered by our global supply chain meet the exacting standards required to protect lives and secure national defense.

Position Summary The Supplier Quality Control Inspector is responsible for verifying that incoming materials, parts, and assemblies from external suppliers conform to Anduril’s engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of incoming mechanical parts, electronic assemblies, wire harnesses, and custom fabrications per engineering drawings and AS9102 guidelines.
  • Utilize standard hand tools and advanced metrology equipment to verify part dimensions.
  • Review supplier-provided documentation for compliance.
  • Document and segregate non-conforming materials, initiate Non-Conformance Reports, and assist in Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations.
  • Travel to supplier facilities to perform source inspections and audit supplier processes.
  • Accurately record inspection results in Anduril’s ERP and PLM systems.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the receiving inspection process and improve inspection tooling/methods.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Person Status: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality control inspection, specifically within aerospace, defense, space, or automotive manufacturing.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
  • Experience with First Article Inspection reports in accordance with AS9102.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical measurement tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be willing to travel more than 50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating or programming CMMs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent software.
  • Active certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or Certified Quality Technician.
  • IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, or J-STD-001 certifications.
