Finance Director

The Finance Director will be responsible for promoting a culture that aligns with our Core Values of Protect, Respect, and Connect through open and honest communication in adherence with all policies and procedures including HESS protocols and Financial controls.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading audits of cash accounts, guest and teammate folios, receipts, and payment vouchers to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring accurate balance of onboard revenue systems (PMS vs. POS) and executing settlements with third-party vendors as per corporate agreements.
• Overseeing ATM operations, credit card settlements, and ensuring timely processing of all financial documentation for legal port authorities.
• Maintaining strict oversight of cash flows onboard, including reviewing large cash transactions, overseeing ATM operations, and authorizing cash orders in accordance with the banking schedule.
• Supervising regular inventory counts, ensuring accuracy in the inventory system, and resolving discrepancies in partnership with department heads.
• Handling financial guest issues, offering prompt resolutions in line with Princess Cruises' service excellence programs.
• Supporting guest satisfaction by ensuring all financial transactions are processed smoothly and efficiently.
• Managing and mentoring a team of financial staff, providing coaching, training, and feedback to promote development, knowledge, and skills.
• Ensuring the department's adherence to operational and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar leadership role in the hospitality or cruise industry.
