Growth Technologies Buyer, Kitting

We're looking for a skilled buyer to join our team, responsible for procuring growth technologies and optimising our kitting processes. As a key member of our growth technologies team, you'll drive cost reduction opportunities, mitigate supplier cost uplift requests, and ensure superior delivery performance from our supply base.

Responsibilities:

  • Procurement: Identify cost reduction opportunities, mitigate supplier cost uplift requests, drive service supply improvements, ensure superior delivery performance from our supply base, support adherence of supplier quality process requirements, execute timely new part sourcing, develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies, lead supplier management and engagement
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing and sales organisations, supply chain, and finance to ensure process improvements align with company objectives and business needs
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyse supplier performance and cost data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for further process and cost optimisation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, and procurement
  • 5+ years of delivering measurable cost savings through sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, or demand optimisation
  • 5+ years of experience managing significant spend categories with responsibility for achieving cost targets, tracking savings pipelines, and reporting realised vs. forecasted savings
  • Proven ability to analyse supplier cost structures (e.g., material, labour, overhead) and leverage data-driven insights to negotiate cost reductions and mitigate price increases
  • Established and successful track record of managing complex commodities and delivering optimised cost solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience driving kitting optimisation initiatives by partnering with suppliers and cross-functional teams to streamline material flow, reduce complexity, and deliver measurable cost and productivity improvements

Salary:

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720 to $162,120

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility, and competitive market value
