As a Manager, HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic HR partnership to business operations leaders in a function, market, or business unit. You will work closely with senior leaders to help shape and execute an HR agenda that enables delivery of the organization's goals.
Our HR Business Partners may support any of the following organizations:
- Electric Vehicles (EVs), Digital, and Design – including product development, software engineering, digital and studio design
- Industrial System – including product development, vehicle hardware engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing
- Corporate Capabilities – including finance, enterprise technology, HR, and other corporate functions
- Go-to-Market – including our global businesses such as, Ford Blue, Ford Model e, Ford Pro, Ford Credit, and Integrated Services
In this role, you will partner closely with the HR Business Partner Director and your peers to optimize talent, engagement, and the overall employee experience.
Responsibilities:
- HR consulting and coaching: Partner with business leaders to solve significant people and culture issues, providing guidance across key employment areas such as hiring, performance management, rewards, and organization design.
- Enabling business change: Collaborate with leaders to support and advance proactive People and Culture strategies aligned to business objectives.
- HR program advocacy: Communicate the business value of HR initiatives and support program rollouts in a way that minimizes disruption to operations.
- Talent Partnership: Work closely with business leaders and Human Resources Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent and Recruiting) on key initiatives such as workforce planning, high-potential development, succession planning, etc.
- Organization Design and Change Management: Support leaders through organization design efforts and lead medium- to large-scale change initiatives impacting teams and functions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of HR experience
- Willingness to relocate, depending on location of job
- Experience with organization design and change management
- Willingness to work in person at Ford’s Dearborn, MI headquarters
Even better, you may have:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, an MBA with a concentration in human resources, or advanced degree in a related field (e.g., industrial/organizational psychology, organizational effectiveness, organizational development, human factors, social science)
- Experience in management consulting
- Experience supporting a global team
- Experience supporting Tech/Design teams
- Experience with recruiting, including executive recruiting, and onboarding
- Strong project management skills with a high level of attention to detail
