Software Engineer, Trading Product

Aptos is seeking a talented, driven Software Engineer to build experimental trading products on Aptos. This role will have significant impact and visibility, helping shape technical direction and potentially leading other engineers as the team scales.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and experiment with trading products for the Aptos blockchain
• Develop scalable APIs, indexing services, and data pipelines to support trading data access
• Build and maintain infrastructure for trading
• Write clean, performant, well-tested, and production-ready code
• Collaborate closely with protocol engineers, infrastructure teams, and product engineers

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping products
• Strong experience building products in languages such as Typescript or similar
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality
• Background in payments, DeFi, or TradFi (a plus)
• Experience with blockchain (a plus)
• Web3 experience or familiarity (a plus)
