Description

BigHat Biosciences is seeking a hands-on Scientist II, Developability to drive antibody developability assessments. You will spend most of your time at the bench executing and innovating on developability workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, optimize, and execute high-throughput developability assays to expand BigHat's toolkit.
  • Drive developability assessments across programs, focusing on data interpretation and organization.
  • Support late-stage characterization and IND-enabling studies, including formulation screening and simulated administration studies.
  • Serve as the Developability lead within project teams, guiding experimental strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally to automate methods, train colleagues, and adapt workflows to existing LIMS infrastructure.
  • Analyze data, interpret scientific findings, and propose next steps.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • PhD in Biochemistry or a relevant discipline with 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Strong background in biophysical and analytical characterization of antibodies and antibody fragments.
  • Experience with protein structures and antibody engineering.
  • Track record of translating complex data into clear results and recommended actions.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and onboarding new technologies.
