Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress reports Conduct exercises and activities to help patients improve their strength, flexibility, and range of motion Use equipment such as treadmills, stationary bikes, and resistance bands to aid in patient rehabilitation Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals as needed Provide education to patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and self-care strategies
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of South Carolina Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time Strong communication and interpersonal skills
