Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with physical therapy treatments.
Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments Conduct patient education and training on exercise programs and home exercises Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Collaborate with the physical therapy team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred Current certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas Ability to lift and move patients as needed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
