Finance strategically partners with operations to drive outstanding business results and enhance Ford’s industry leadership. In this position, you will be a key global operating partner and strategic advisor to multiple staff skill teams. You will drive cost efficiencies, identify strategic opportunities, and lead a global team of analysts to ensure robust financial performance and control.
Responsibilities:
Support multiple staff skill teams by leading comprehensive budgeting, and actuals reporting processes.
Monitor monthly financial performance against budgets, delivering actionable, physicals-based variance explanations to departmental leaders.
Act as a key global operating partner to identify opportunities, drive cost efficiencies, and influence decision-making through clear financial guidance.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports operating outside of the U.S., fostering a collaborative and high-performing cross-border culture.
Lead your team of analysts through the monthly accounting close, ensuring accurate accruals, precise cost classifications, and timely reporting.
Maintain a rigorous internal control environment, ensuring all financial operations and reporting are strictly compliant with GAAP and Ford corporate directives.
Champion a continuous process improvement mindset, actively identifying ways to streamline reporting, close process gaps, and optimize financial workflows.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
Five years of experience working in similar or related field
Proven professional experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlling.
Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles and the monthly financial close process.
Deep knowledge of internal control principles and experience ensuring compliance with GAAP and corporate financial policies.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into concise, actionable information for non-finance stakeholders.
