Description
We are looking for a Software Verification & Validation Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg. As a Software Verification & Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for verifying and validating onboard chargers (OBC) in various customer projects. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that our solutions meet the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Verifying and validating OBC systems through various testing activities, including functional testing, system testing, and environmental testing
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues related to OBC systems
- Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement
- Presenting findings and recommendations to technical teams and project organizations
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing related to OBC
- A degree in a technical field, such as engineering physics, vehicle engineering, software engineering, or a related field
- Experience with requirement analysis and test planning
- Good knowledge of measurement systems and sensors for software testing
- Programming skills in C/C++ or Python
- Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, CANalyser, CANoe, or FlexRay
- HIL experience with systems such as dSpace or ETAS
- Experience with tools such as INCA, MDA, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge of standards such as ISO15118, ISO61851, and ISO18246
- A valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in coordinating roles or cross-functional work
- Background in electrification or e-mobility
