In this position...
As Enthusiast Vehicles Communications Manager, you're responsible for planning, managing and executing communications that help further establish Ford as the leader in Off-Road capability with the Bronco family of vehicles and continuing to expand Mustang’s reputation as a global performance icon with American roots.
This is a highly visible and fast-paced role that requires a keen understanding of both the off-road and high-performance sport car markets and the strategic thinking, project management and media awareness skills to deliver flawless storytelling and news making.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
Lead in the development of communications strategies and launch plans for Ford’s enthusiast vehicle portfolio, including Mustang, Bronco and Bronco Sport
Responsible for ongoing enterprise storytelling around enthusiast vehicles along with issues management; work closely with major publications to seed and manage high-impact enterprising stories
Work with the Ford Performance team to leverage the motorsports strategy in the U.S., with a focus on racing and off-roading linked to Mustang and Bronco
Expand Ford’s media reach beyond traditional automotive media to include consumer and lifestyle media; engage with and identify influencers and advocates that will help amplify Ford’s enthusiast vehicles
Work closely with the Enthusiast Vehicles General Manager and Marketing and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and integration of all plans; serve as advisor for customer and external facing communications
Serve as project director for agile projects supporting key Enthusiast vehicle programmes and supervise Ford salaried employees and direct the work of multiple agency partners supporting Enthusiast vehicles agile teams
Work with the regional teams on amplification opportunities for enthusiast vehicles and lead integration with key audiences and stakeholders including employee communications
Manage budget with a focus on waste elimination and cost efficiencies for enthusiast vehicle programmes
Responsible for delivering monthly metrics with a focus on brand awareness and building Ford’s reputation
Continuous personal development of functional competencies and leadership agilities
Qualifications
You'll have...
Bachelors Degree
7-10 years demonstrated increasing responsibility managing automotive or high visibility product communications
Strive to build and contribute to a culture of creative excellence
