Palantir builds the world's leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. As a Software Engineer Intern in the Production Infrastructure organization, you'll contribute high-quality code to large-scale transformation through data, AI, and world-leading infrastructure.
You’ll work on Rubix and Apollo, platforms deployed at important institutions across the public and private sectors. You'll shape Mission Manager, our internal-infrastructure business line, used by advanced civil and defense agencies worldwide. Your work will provide the substrate on which Palantir deploys its other platforms, Foundry and Gotham.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own every phase of the product lifecycle, from idea generation to feature shipping
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues to solve customer problems
- Work with a dedicated mentor who champions your growth
- Participate in SWE principles, including ownership, collaboration, and trust
Technologies We Use:
- Various languages, including Java and Go for backend and Typescript for frontend
- Open-source technologies like Kubernetes, Cilium, Envoy, Grafana, React, and Redux
- Industry-standard tooling, including Gradle and GitHub
What We Value:
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse individuals
- Willingness to learn and make decisions independently
- Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one
What We Require:
- Engineering background in fields like Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, and Physics
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and technical tools
- Experience coding in programming languages like Java, C++, Python, JavaScript
- Planning to graduate in 2028, with this being your final internship before graduating
Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $10,500/month.
