Description
This Sales Trainee role is designed to prepare you for the Account Sales Manager position. You will support sales initiatives and provide route coverage for the Account Sales Manager during vacation, sickness, injury or special projects.
As a Sales Trainee, you will work with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising and operations for all large and small format 'off premise' stores. You must effectively service all customers in a safe, productive and professional manner, complying with Red Bull's executional standards.
Responsibilities
Training
The Sales Trainee role is a training position. Upon successful participation in the training program, you will be eligible to interview for open Account Sales Manager roles. If no Account Sales Manager or other qualified role is available and you are meeting performance standards, you may remain in the Sales Trainee role for up to 12 months or until an Account Sales Manager or other qualified role becomes available.
Business Acumen
- Understand and learn the basics of Red Bull and Red Bull Distribution Company, including the brand and products
- Build and protect the Red Bull brand through proper rotation to ensure fresh product
- Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with customers to increase sales and selling
Daily Preparation
- Obtain all necessary tools to execute the daily plan
- Effectively communicate with Account Sales Managers and District Sales Managers on daily priorities
- Train with Account Sales Managers
In Route Support
- Cover Account Sales Manager routes as needed
- Meet daily KPIs focused on sales, distributions, pricing, display, new accounts and merchandising
Off Route Support
- Support the team with audits, blitz, building of displays and merchandising to drive sales
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid US Driver's License and obtainment of DOT Medical card
- At least 21 years of age
- Experience in customer service and sales is a plus
- Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
- English; additional languages an advantage
