We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with physical therapy treatments. You will work in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, providing care to patients with various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries.
Responsibilities: Assist licensed physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments Develop and implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist Provide patient education on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and disease management Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred Current certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas Ability to lift and move patients as needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred qualifications: Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting Certification in CPR and first aid Bilingual or multilingual skills
