Description

We are seeking an engineering manager to lead engineering activities related to productising Deep Learning models. As a member of our team, you will interact with the scientific community to implement and improve the latest algorithms. Your ability to work in a multifaceted, product-centric environment is required, along with excellent interpersonal skills.

In this role, you will lead and mentor forward-thinking engineers and own related activities and interactions with teams across NVIDIA. You will work with key internal partners on priority alignment across relevant teams for roadmap development of highly optimised novel and state-of-the-art numerical, analytics, and deep learning algorithms and associated R&D duties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, scheduling, mentoring, and leading the execution of projects and activities of the team, including creating, optimising, and deploying training and inference DL workloads.
  • Collaborating with internal customers to align priorities across business units.
  • Coordinating projects across different geographic locations.
  • Growing and developing a world-class team.
  • Traveling to conferences, other sites, or visiting customers occasionally.

Requirements include:

  • A minimum of 8 years of overall experience, including 3 years of management/leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of graduate studies and experience.
  • Experience leading multiple software engineering projects.
  • Strong algorithms and DL skills or experience.
  • Excellent programming, debugging, performance analysis, and test design skills.
  • Great communication.
