We're looking for an AI Product Manager to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As an AI Product Manager, you will lead the strategy, development, and delivery of key AI products. Imagine and deliver the next generation of AI-powered products that transform our business from reactive to predictive, personalized, and seamless.
Our team has been tasked to develop scalable AI solutions for the Sales and Services group. We aspire to navigate Ford through the disruptiveness of the information age, harnessing the power of data and artificial intelligence to realize the enterprise's known goals, reveal hidden opportunities, and achieve data superiority.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and articulate the product vision working closely with business partners, aligning it with Ford's broader digital transformation goals. You will empathize and deeply understand your target audience and personas to define the right problem to solve with AI.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and articulate the product vision and strategy
- Define and drive the product roadmap
- Prioritize product features and enhancements
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across various business units
- Manage relationships with product stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units
- Lead a cross-functional product team in the design, development, and deployment of the AI products
- Collaborate with product group leaders to lead and adopt operational standards
- Work hands-on with the development team to prioritize, plan, and deliver AI solutions
- Ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and reliable
- Drive the integration of AI/ML capabilities into customer and business-facing applications
- Collaborate with the product team to define specifications, requirements, and acceptance criteria for deliverables
- Create assets to guide product development work
- Maintain an actionable backlog of user stories for development team
- Define, track, and analyze key product metrics and KPIs to inform product strategy, prioritize features, and drive continuous improvement and business outcomes

We're looking for someone who is:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- 5+ years with progressive responsibilities in an agile software development and delivery environment
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager with responsibilities including defining product vision, strategy, product roadmaps, and building and managing backlogs
- Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach others
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision-making
- Ability to collaborate well with engineers, designers, and business partners
- Previous success delivering a product to market with an Agile development team, and ongoing development and support of production applications
- Curiosity about new technologies and a demonstrated history of continuous learning mindset
- Practice in Lean/Lean Startup thinking, human-centered product development, and Agile Software development
- Exposure to lightweight product development methods such as user story mapping and/or rapid prototyping
