Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our Alpharetta location. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations and treatment plans
• Conduct exercises and activities to help patients improve their strength, flexibility, and range of motion
• Use equipment such as treadmills, stationary bikes, and weights to help patients with their rehabilitation
• Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred
• Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Current certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) through the National Board for Certification in Medical-Surgical Specialties (NBCMS)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
