Description
We're seeking a talented Software Engineer I to join our Streamer Monetization Experience team. As an engineer on this team, you will work alongside a highly engaged and collaborative team that works to design, build and maintain systems that scale to millions of concurrent users.
Your primary focus will be on improving existing experiences, such as Emotes and Alerts, and building new features to help creators recognize and reward their supporters. You will learn and contribute across the full stack of our software, collaborating with fellow engineers, product managers and designers to build new products and solutions.
In addition to your technical skills, you will participate in Operational Excellence work to maintain and support our live services, and help earn customer trust by working with our support teams to resolve issues and fix production bugs.

Requirements
- Learn and contribute across the full stack of our software
- Backend (Go), Frontend (React)
- Collaborate with fellow engineers, product managers and designers to build new products and solutions
- Participate in Operational Excellence work to maintain and support our live services
- Help earn customer trust by working with our support teams to resolve issues and fix production bugs
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn new things and work with a diverse group of people
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience as a Software Engineer
- A strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with scalability, concurrency, API design, data modeling, and distributed systems fundamentals
- Proficiency in Go, Java, Python or another Object-oriented language
- An eagerness to grow as a Software Engineer
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure
- Coding experience with React
- Twitch experience / knowledge as a viewer, moderator or streamer
