Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Aberdeen Market Place Shopping Center.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress reports
• Implement treatment plans and provide patient education on exercise techniques and home programs
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and new technologies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• Completion of a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Maryland
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
