Description

Databricks is seeking a Real Estate Strategic Planning Lead to join its Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) team.

The role will be responsible for portfolio planning, scenario planning, and portfolio optimisation across Databricks' global real estate portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with Finance and Real Estate Leadership to maintain REWS long-range portfolio plan
  • Creating and maintaining flexible portfolio models and managing complex scenario planning initiatives
  • Developing portfolio optimisation recommendations aligned with business growth, financial objectives, and employee experience
  • Conducting financial, operational, and portfolio analyses to support strategic real estate decision-making
  • Supporting development of executive-ready business cases, presentations, and strategic recommendations
  • Translating complex portfolio tradeoffs into clear, data-driven insights and actionable recommendations
  • Developing and maintaining recurring portfolio reporting, dashboards, and key performance metrics
  • Conducting ad hoc analyses and decision support for high-priority REWS cross-functional initiatives
  • Partnering with Finance, Workplace, People, IT, and Real Estate stakeholders globally to support portfolio planning initiatives
  • Helping establish scalable planning frameworks, reporting standards, and governance processes as Databricks continues to grow

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a combination of Real Estate, Finance, Strategy, Management Consulting, or related fields with a track record of success
  • Excellent analytical skills, including financial modelling, forecasting, portfolio analysis, and scenario planning
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop solutions
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a results-driven, solutions-oriented environment with competing priorities
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and presentation development
  • Experience with planning and reporting tools such as Anaplan, Tableau, Databricks, or similar platforms preferred

Pay Range: $144,500-$198,650 USD
