Senior Product Manager, Symmetry New Tax Products

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of new business lines for payroll tax products at Symmetry, a part of Gusto. As a product leader, you will own the development of new business lines, focusing on 0 to 1 products in payroll tax. You will work directly with a new product development engineering team, focusing on AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead long-term strategy, including research, customer and market positioning, and product direction
• Focus the organization on what matters most, identifying high-leverage investments and decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover insights, validate assumptions, and build alignment
• Accelerate execution by stepping into high-priority gaps and driving momentum

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on product management experience, with 3+ years of success building 0 to 1 products
• Proven track record of building 0 to 1 products with demonstrable evidence of deep product discovery skills and experience in highly regulated categories
• Experience building personalized products or optimized workflows using Gen AI/ML
• Extraordinary cross-functional collaborator and leader
• Ability to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends, build business cases, and define product vision and strategy

Nice to Have:

• Experience with payroll/payroll tax

Compensation Details:

• Targeted cash compensation: $143,000/yr to $179,000/yr in Scottsdale & most remote locations, and $184,000/yr to $230,000/yr for San Francisco & New York
