Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with physical therapy treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Implement exercise programs and modalities as directed by the physical therapist
• Conduct transfers, ambulations, and other activities to promote patient mobility and independence
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Virginia
• Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
