Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join its team in Quonset, RI. The engineer will be responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware and demonstrated technical leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment
• Designing and optimizing production processes for efficiency, scalability, and quality
• Creating and reviewing technical drawings, blueprints, and process maps
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase productivity
• Utilizing Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance manufacturing operations
• Overseeing the execution of manufacturing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including Design, Quality, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth production ramp-up for new products
• Collaborating with suppliers to improve material quality and negotiate cost-effective solutions
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and manufacturing staff
• Staying abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to drive innovation within the manufacturing processes

The salary range for this role is $126,000-$167,000 USD per year.
