FBS Analytics Engineer

FBS – Farmer Business Services is part of Farmers operations, aiming to build a global approach to identifying, recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.

As an Analytics Engineer, you will work remotely and be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines using modern ELT tools and frameworks such as DBT.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using ELT tools and frameworks like DBT.
• Automate data ingestion processes from various sources including databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Design and implement data warehousing solutions using platforms like Snowflake.
• Optimize storage solutions for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain logical and physical data models to support business analytics.
• Transform raw data into clean, organized, and analytics-ready datasets using SQL, Python, or other relevant languages.
• Implement data transformation workflows to handle data cleansing, normalization, and enrichment.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working in Analytics Engineer or relevant field.
• Experience working with SQL and Python.
• Advanced knowledge of PowerBI (Power Query and DAX).
• 4+ years of experience with pipeline automation tools (Fivetran would be a plus).
• Strong knowledge of DBT or other ELT frameworks/tools (Apache AirFlow).
• Strong English communication skills.
