Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide treatment to patients. You will assist with exercises, modalities, and other treatments as directed by the physical therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients' physical function and movement patterns
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patients' mobility and function
• Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home programs
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Washington
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a physical therapy setting
• Certification in CPR and first aid
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
