Description
Apply for a remote type position as a Privacy Counsel at Logitech. Your contribution will involve advising on data processing agreements, standard contractual clauses, and AI terms. You will respond to privacy-specific questions in RFPs and RFIs, draft and maintain appropriate procedures and playbooks for use of templates, and provide advice and conduct assessments on international data transfers.
As a Privacy Counsel, you will also draft privacy and data protection-related policies and review them against leading industry standards. You will provide specialized and pragmatic advice on the implementation and impact of global privacy and data protection laws to product, business groups, and to colleagues in the Legal team.
You will partner with technical and non-technical colleagues to identify legal requirements and best practices, and translate them into clear, actionable steps. You will distill highly technical rules and disparate data processes into understandable terms – using plain English both for internal clients and our externally-facing documentation, such as for our Privacy Policies and Notices.
You will partner with our Privacy Operations and AI Governance colleagues to provide appropriate advice and work on projects to strengthen our Privacy & AI Governance compliance program. You will collaborate with Legal and business groups spread across time zones – in multiple locations such as in the US, Europe, and Asia.
You will contribute to ongoing efforts to provide education, resources, and training on privacy and data protection. You will keep up to date and research new legal requirements that may be applicable to Logitech's business.
Key qualifications and experience include being qualified as a lawyer and admitted to practice in a jurisdiction relevant to Logitech's business, with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, and significant relevant privacy/data protection law experience at a law firm or in-house, ideally in a multinational technology company.
Additional preferable skills and behaviors include being a self-starter who works well with minimal supervision, excellent time management skills, proactivity, ability to multitask effortlessly, demonstrated ability to learn quickly, lead & manage projects, and drive/achieve results, while working autonomously.
