OpenAI is hiring a Deployed Product Manager to help customers get maximally deployed on their products. The role sits at the intersection of product, technical deployment, and customer strategy.
Compensation
The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The salary range for this position is $180K - $290K, plus generous equity, performance-related bonuses, and benefits.

About the role
As a Deployed Product Manager, you will act as the product lead inside strategic customer accounts, helping customers adopt and expand their use of OpenAI products. You will identify opportunities for deeper deployment, build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders, and drive cross-functional execution.
Responsibilities
- Act as the product lead inside strategic customer accounts
- Identify opportunities for deeper deployment, new integrations, and broader product usage
- Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders, engineering leaders, and executives
- Partner with Deployment Engineers and GTM teams to drive successful implementations
- Translate customer needs and technical blockers into clear product feedback and execution paths
- Work hands-on with integrations, MCPs, tooling, and lightweight technical workflows when needed
- Own lightweight PM work needed to support enterprise deployment
Requirements
- Strong technical fluency and comfort working directly with engineers
- Strong product instincts, especially around identifying customer needs and translating them into product opportunities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to present product strategy and deployment vision clearly to senior customer audiences
- Comfort operating across strategy, execution, and hands-on problem solving
- Bias toward action, ownership, and unblocking
Nice to Have
- Background as a technical founder, product founder, technical PM, solutions or product lead
- Experience operating in highly ambiguous environments
- Highly credible with technical audiences and ability to work effectively with CTOs, senior engineers, and developer experience teams
