Description
Join our team as a Solutions Architect and play a crucial role in helping our customers solve their complex data challenges. As a key member of our Field Engineering team, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop customized solutions using our Data Intelligence Platform.
We're looking for someone with a strong technical background in big data analytics, who can operate as a trusted advisor to our customers. You will be responsible for developing successful relationships with clients, providing technical and business value, and scaling best practices in your field.
As a Solutions Architect, you will:
- Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory
- Operate as an expert in big data analytics to excite customers about Databricks
- Develop into a 'champion' and trusted advisor on multiple issues of architecture, design, and implementation
- Scale best practices in your field and support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications
- Grow your knowledge and expertise to the level of a technical and/or industry specialist
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience with coding in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala)
- A base level in Spark
- A builder mindset with a passion for quick prototyping and experience in vibe coding
- Proficient with Big Data Analytics technologies, including hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s)
- Experienced in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences
- Joy in drilling deeper on tough technical questions and solution architecture while always keeping the big picture in mind
Fluency in German is a strong advantage, but not required.
