Product Safety Specialist

We are seeking a Product Safety Specialist to join our team at FUCHS Group. As a Product Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring assigned tasks are completed effectively and in line with company interests.

Responsibilities:

• Support implementation and monitoring of systems for Chemicals and Product Safety compliance with national/international standards and legal requirements.
• Maintain collaboration with teams on chemical and product safety matters.
• Manage product safety documentation and compliance, including preparation and updating of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), monitoring classification and labeling requirements (SEA_CLP), overseeing transport requirements (ADR), and ensuring compliance with registration, authorization, and restriction requirements (KKDİK/REACH).
• Handle legal notifications (SEVESO, CLP, ADR) and manage permits for special chemicals (e.g., biocides).
• Verify product content compliance before market release and prepare product safety notifications for customer-specific requests.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Procurement to ensure raw material compliance.
• Support Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 14064-1) in product safety aspects.
• Record and document all work carried out on all equipment on both paper and electronic systems.
• Analyze issues to root cause and develop countermeasures, improvement actions, and/or suggestions to improve.
• Identify energy savings opportunities and make recommendations to achieve more energy-efficient operation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in the petrochemical sector.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English.
• Experience with lubricants and additives.
• Experience with SAP system.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Good command of MS Office programs.
