Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to oversee our accounting and finance operations in Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial activities, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the accounting and finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, including US GAAP and Local GAAP
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
- Collaborating with the Controller and other stakeholders to drive financial performance and growth
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Essential skills and experience include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 15 years of working experience in accounting and finance, including 10 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including US GAAP and Local GAAP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong leadership and management skills
Preferred skills and experience include:
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation
- Experience working in a multinational company
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling and analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
