The Sales Engineering team partners with Sales to deliver expert technical support for Komodo’s real-world data, AI-powered analytics, software, and services for Life Sciences customers.
The Senior Sales Engineer role provides technical, data, and AI-solution expertise and strategic support during the discovery, qualification, value alignment, and solution design stages of the sales cycle.

These are the essential job duties you will be responsible for…
- Partner with Sales during discovery to identify technical, data, and AI requirements, pain points, and desired commercial outcomes for life sciences clients
- Provide expert guidance on healthcare claims and real-world data
- Design and present tailored solutions that combine Komodo’s Healthcare Map, AI engine, and software products
- Conduct technical and AI-powered demonstrations
- Position how Komodo’s differentiated AI aligns with foundational models and other real-world-data vendors
- Support customer AI councils, security reviews, and enterprise procurement
- Identify and shape expansion opportunities across Komodo’s products
- Navigate the internal review process for technical proposals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams so customer and competitive feedback influences the product and AI roadmap
- Provide technical and AI mentorship to junior SEs
What you bring to Komodo Health (required)
- Deep familiarity with large BioPharma functional areas and their core processes and workflows
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Account Management
- Proven success partnering with Sales to support discovery, qualification, and solution design that drives revenue
- Deep understanding of healthcare claims and real-world data and life sciences commercial strategies
- Working fluency with AI/ML concepts relevant to enterprise analytics
The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US.
San Francisco Bay Area and New York City: $164,000-$222,000 USD All Other US Locations: $143,000-$193,000 USD
