Multi-Skilled FLT Driver

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled FLT Driver to join our Packaging team at our Wisbech plant. As a Multi-Skilled FLT Driver, you will operate a forklift truck to transport items as instructed by the Packaging Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Use warehouse management system to scan items as necessary
• Operate forklift truck to transport items, including filling and emptying racks, transporting packaging to the lines, loading the flake trailer
• Maintain the cleanliness of the working area
• Complete a thorough handover at the end of each shift to counterpart on following shift
• Ensure work is compliant with relevant health and safety, environmental and GMP practice
• Operate a counterbalance FLT, Reach FLT, and RPPT truck
• Assist the Flake department with Packaging as required
• Help in loading the lorry for the finished Flake product
• Assist the logistics department when required (loading/unloading deliveries/batter)
• Participate in Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) and report any safety concerns
• Carry out sanitation duties as required, including shutdown
• Remain at workstation until relieved at shift handover
• Provide guidance, training, and support to colleagues as required
• Report and escalate issues on performance or damage/knock outs with a supervisor or manager in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
• Lamb Weston chemical training, H+S, GMP
• Reach and Counterbalance licence signed off by Lamb Weston rep + PPPT - RPPT
• Full driving licence
• Appropriate experience operating a forklift truck
• SAP/SCADA experience
