As a SAP Solution Architect, you will lead solution architecture for a S/4HANA based transformation program, addressing critical dimensions of business processes, data & analytics, applications, and technologies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the definition of the Solution Architecture in challenging business transformation projects (overall solution design including end-to-end design, integrations, and data migration)
- Ensuring that technical solutions, platforms, and systems satisfy business requirements and future needs
- Developing and implementing an enterprise roadmap for SAP S/4HANA and a suite of new solutions including leadership of the ERP non-functional roadmap and related enterprise-wide integration requirements
- Providing digital capabilities to enhance and transform the business and to enable new business models
- Providing leadership, guidance, and technical solutions for focus areas e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, digital platforms, Cloud Integration, API Management, AI, Advanced Analytics and IOT
- Ensuring a well-structured and defined solution architecture framework - delivering to time, cost, and quality and within budget
- Ensuring adherence to solution governance and enterprise architecture principles and standards
- Leading and participating in key governance forums including Architecture Review Boards, Program Boards, Change Control Boards, and Integration Management meetings
- Active participation in business development and pre-sales activities, including proposals and responses to “Requests for Proposal” (RFPs) and “Requests for Information” (RFIs)
- Proactively managing, monitoring, and reporting on the identification, impact, dependencies, risks, mitigations and implementation status of solution architecture topics and areas for improvement; and owning the resolution of solution architecture issues
- Liaising with 3rd party providers and vendors as needed
- Managing internal consulting resources, 3rd party provider resources, and contract resources
We are looking for someone with extensive work experience in a consulting company, working in large-scale SAP transformation programs. You should have proven delivery capability for large-scale SAP based transformation programs and practical application of project management life cycle principles and methodologies (SAP Activate, including key concepts like Model Company, SAP Value Lifecycle Management etc.). You should also have experience with solution and enterprise architecture frameworks and models e.g. TOGAF and considerable SAP solution architecture, familiar with typical solution challenges in a large-scale transformation program.
You should have demonstrated skills in executing an Agile-based design and delivery approach and ideally experienced in process analysis and business process design approaches. You should also have solid understanding of major data objects and SAP enterprise structures and solid understanding of a range of SAP applications including S/4HANA, e.g. IBP, MDG, etc.
You should have experience in delivering SAP using a value-driven transformation approach and superior client interaction skills: ability to build trusted relationships to design and implement solutions for transformation programs jointly with clients. You should also have ability to inspire, convince and to influence to be able to gain buy-in from senior business management and stakeholders.
You should have superior problem management skills (problem identification, structuring, resolution) and moderation skills and excellent communication, presentation, and facilitations skills. You should also have ability to collaborate within the Firm and to leverage existing resources.
You should have experience in gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information for a range of audiences and project-related mobility/willingness to travel.
