System Administrator in the area of Facility Management

As a System Administrator in the area of Facility Management, you will ensure that global access control and visitor management systems are operated reliably, securely, and with a future-oriented approach. You will combine IT support, system administration, and process optimisation within a security-critical environment with high visibility.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level support and operational maintenance for GPAC (Global Physical Access System), connected applications, reception and gatekeeper systems
• Analyse, handle, and follow up on incidents, errors, requests, and tickets related to GPAC and its associated systems
• Administer and continuously develop NEXIS 4, AEOS, AEmon, as well as role-, user-, and authorisation structures
• Support access control and visitor management processes, including visitor tools, badge and card printing, form printing, and access-related support
• Support events through access regulations, technical implementation, and reporting
• Manage interfaces and vendors for error analyses, releases, enhancements, and system integrations
• Document, monitor, and automate GPAC architectures, dashboards, processes, and optimisation potentials

Your Profile:

• Completed education (Secondary Technical College, University or University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, or comparables) with a focus on information technology or a related field, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in IT support or application operations, ideally in a security-critical environment
• Knowledge of access control systems, IAM, or visitor management, preferably with GPAC, NEXIS 4, AEOS, or AEmon
• Strong technical understanding of application landscapes, interfaces, and role and authorisation concepts
• Basic knowledge of network technology, IT security, and IT service management, including ticketing systems
• Very good knowledge of German and English

Annual Remuneration: The annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position is €50,000.00. The employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry).
