Description
As a Manufacturing Systems Deployment Engineer within the MET team, you will manage a portfolio of vehicle programs to determine and lead the strategy, adoption planning, communication, governance, and deployment of Ford's digital manufacturing capabilities.
You will leverage Ultimately managing deployment and training to ensure successful adoption by the manufacturing workforce as you work closely between the engineering requirements and software development teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing digital transformation PLM software deployment strategies and adoption plans for each Program Team
- Orchestrating the full rollout of digital tools to Vehicle Program engineering and manufacturing sites
- Creating technical documentation, determining Training needs of Program Team rosters and monitoring usage metrics to drive active adoption of the new technology
- Providing ongoing technical and transformation support of PLM tools to Ford's global manufacturing implementation teams
- Identifying risks and collecting Lesson Learned from existing program teams
- Communicating with stakeholders, including engineers, plant personnel, and leadership, to clearly articulate software tool process and strategy
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, and 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
