Description

As a Test Engineer - Photonic at NVIDIA, you will engage in the outstanding development of silicon photonics and semiconductor test programs. You will collaborate with international design teams to flawlessly implement silicon design features for testing, test concept development, and code implementation.

Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive device characterization and data analysis, supplying designers with high-quality feedback to ensure flawless silicon performance. You will also lead the development of silicon photonic test concepts and hardware, working closely with both internal and external vendors to successfully implement these solutions.

Prioritizing yield improvement and the reduction of test time, while upholding high standards of efficiency and excellence at every stage, is crucial in this role.

To succeed in this position, you will require a BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science from a leading university, or equivalent experience in the field. Proven experience in electrical engineering and programming is essential, as well as a minimum of 2 years of experience in the semiconductor photonic / photonic industry.

Strong background in photonic testing or validation, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python and VBA, is also required. Demonstrated knowledge of probability and statistics tools, such as JMP, is desirable. A fresh approach to problem-solving that consistently leads to successful outcomes is essential, as is experience in leading cross-organizational activities with a high sense of responsibility and ambition.
