Senior Business Controller

As a Senior Business Controller at Tony's Chocolonely, you'll play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our operations cost base. You'll own core controlling cycles, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, and ensure financial decisions keep pace with our growth.

Your focus will go beyond tracking costs; you'll question assumptions, evaluate trade-offs, and help operational leaders make smarter, more informed decisions. You'll build structure where things are still being built, introduce governance and control mechanisms, and ensure financial clarity across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Running a fit-for-purpose planning and control cycle for our supply chain spend
• Partnering with the COO and Head of Operations to share financial insights
• Translating financial results into meaningful insights
• Building and evaluating business cases for operational improvements and investments
• Supporting the broader Business Control team
• Elevating financial awareness across teams

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in business control, FP&A, or financial analysis
• Strategic and analytical mindset
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced skills in Excel and financial systems
• Relevant academic degree in finance, economics, or business
