Description
The Sr. CMF Design Specialist develops design concepts and specifications that optimize the function, ergonomics, perceived value and appearance of physical hardware products and systems for product consumers and end users.
This role involves developing design concepts and specifications that optimize the function, ergonomics, perceived value and appearance of physical hardware products and systems for product consumers and end users. The successful candidate will have exposure to the full product development journey and will be part of the Global CMF Design Team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing design concepts and specifications that optimize the function, ergonomics, perceived value and appearance of physical hardware products and systems for product consumers and end users.
- Working closely with Project Managers and Engineering to ensure targets and schedules are met.
- Creating and compiling CMF prototype samples, to grow our global materials library.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional CMF design experience, defining trends, color, material, and finishes for mass manufacture. They will also have excellent visualization and presentation skills, using Adobe Creative Suite and Keyshot.
