The SAP MII Senior Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII) solutions within digital manufacturing environments. This role is essential in delivering scalable and high-performing solutions that support smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives across the value chain.
The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration between shop-floor systems and SAP landscapes. This role also contributes to project leadership, solution design, and continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting pre-sales activities and mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities include designing SAP MII solution architecture for manufacturing scenarios, developing SAP MII and SAP UI5 solutions following SAP best practices, implementing and configuring SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo), analyzing existing MII/UI5 solutions and proposing optimizations, leading SAP MII projects across full lifecycle phases, supporting pre-sales activities, and guiding team members and mentoring junior consultants.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in SAP MII project lifecycle, strong experience in SAP MII and PCo implementations, hands-on experience with SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XSLT, XPath, experience integrating SAP with PP, MM, PM, QM, ME, experience working with MES integrations (S95, S88, B2MML standards), experience across design, development, testing, and support phases, experience with OEE KPIs and manufacturing performance tracking, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with OPC UA (tag and method-based), exposure to IoT projects in manufacturing, knowledge of ABAP, RFCs, BAPIs, SAP ME and PP configuration experience, and a Bachelor's degree.
