Sr. Solutions Architect - Public Sector (SLED)

As a Sr. Solutions Architect at Databricks, you will lead the growth of the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform in the public sector.

You will work with customers, teammates, and product teams to identify use cases, develop architectures, and guide customers through implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks solves business problems
• Providing technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks
• Consulting on big data architecture and implementing proof of concepts for strategic customer projects
• Building and presenting reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications for customers
• Promoting Databricks-inspired open-source projects across developer communities
• Travelling to customers in your region

Requirements:

• 8+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R
• Experience supporting Public Sector clients and building solutions with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of data engineering technologies, data warehousing, and desired degree in a quantitative discipline
• US Citizenship

The pay range for this role is $219,100-$301,300 USD.
