Description

This position creates user-centered design solutions that promote business success and user satisfaction. The role applies user experience principles and collaborates with teams to ensure designs align with business objectives and user needs.

The position contributes to design lifecycle processes from research to implementation to improve user interactions. The role performs moderately complex design work to develop and maintain design systems that prioritize consistency, quality, and functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct competitive evaluations, high-fidelity page designs, low-fidelity wireframes, and prototypes to define the vision of solving real user problems and create day-to-day designs.
  • Design layouts, user interfaces, interaction patterns, visual design, and system components.
  • Communicate and test the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Synthesize and deduce research into strategic and tactical experience recommendations, overseeing it from concept to implementation.
  • Independently or in collaboration with researchers, create hypotheses, identify usability research needs, perform tests, and incorporate insights to solve users' underlying problems.
  • Actively build scalable and reusable components and collaborate on prioritization and rationalization of components.
  • Proactively engage and partner with copywriters to achieve clarity and jobs to be done, understand legal considerations, and approval processes.
  • Take ownership of the collaboration, coordination, and design of digital products, including site applications and features integration.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to effectively design, test, and deliver optimal features and functionality for customer and agent use.
  • Support the creation and definition of project requirements, user, and business needs.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity in products.
  • Take initiative to assist product managers in identifying and prioritizing usability issues, producing various options, and articulating pros and cons of each.
  • Identify and lead the execution of customer-centric solutions.
  • Plan and conduct user research with contextual interviews, A/B tests, surveys, and analysis.
