Description
We're looking for a Digital Supplier Experience Analyst to join our Supplier Technologies team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in guiding the creation of the Contact Management Tool (CMT), a centralized platform that will revolutionize the way we interact with our suppliers. Your primary focus will be on driving the product vision and roadmap, working closely with the development team to ensure seamless execution. You will also act as a versatile champion for Ford's broader digital supplier experience, driving immense business value and lean process optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing the product vision and roadmap for CMT, incorporating business strategy, market analysis, user experience, and process waste elimination
- Acting as the Product Owner for the development team, taking full ownership of the product backlog and prioritizing features based on business value
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a smooth rollout, facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), overseeing training and deployment plans, and providing ongoing production support
- Mapping out downstream integrations to ensure CMT seamlessly feeds accurate data to legacy applications
- Reviewing functional specifications and designing robust security/access models
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Commodity/Program Management, or Supply Chain Consulting, preferably within the automotive industry
- Strong ability to translate complex business problems into clear, actionable software requirements
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels, translating detailed information into concise executive summaries and presentations
Preferred qualifications include:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related advanced degree
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in an Agile software development environment
- Prior experience in technology or management consulting, demonstrating the ability to rapidly parachute into complex environments, map out fragmented systems, and consolidate them into a centralized strategy
