At Ford Motor Company, we believe freedom of movement drives human progress. We're seeking a highly skilled In Vehicle Network Architect to join our Product Development team. As an In Vehicle Network Architect, you will create, maintain, and release in-vehicle communication network descriptions in standard formats such as Autosar. You will lead Ethernet communication strategies for in-vehicle networks, automate network artifact creation workflows using various programming languages, and document architectural requirements in standard formats such as Gherkin. You will collaborate cross-functionally with different teams to gather and implement Ethernet-specific interface requirements, create validation plans for Ethernet-related architectural implementations, and write Ethernet communication requirements in testable (Gherkin) style format. You will stay up-to-date with the latest communication standards, including IEEE, Autosar, and SAE.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in software engineering, embedded systems, network architecture, protocols, and communication standards. You will also have experience with network analysis and simulation tools, AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive architectures, developing tools and scripts for AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive, DBC, and ARXML formats, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) with Gherkin for writing clear, concise, and executable specifications.
