Manager SAP Permissions

We are seeking an experienced Manager SAP Permissions to oversee and manage SAP permission and access management across S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP BTP, and cloud services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and control SAP permission and access management across various systems
• Design and maintain role and permission concepts in line with Clean-Core principles
• Ensure compliance and security, including SoD management and audit readiness
• Oversee user lifecycle processes, including provisioning, changes, and revocation of permissions
• Lead SAP license management and optimization activities
• Monitor security operations, such as patching, certificate management, and vulnerability remediation
• Ensure secure integration between SAP on-premise and cloud environments
• Act as Stream Lead for Roles & Permissions in the S/4HANA transformation program
• Manage external service providers and ensure delivery quality
• Drive continuous improvements, standardization, and automation in SAP security and permissions

Requirements:

• Completed studies in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Several years of relevant experience in SAP security and permissions (ECC/S/4HANA) with expertise in role design
• Practical experience in SAP error analysis and system analysis, including integrated SAP development environments
• Experience with SAP cloud and hybrid landscapes (e.g., BTP, IAS, integrations, Cloud Connector)
• Good understanding of compliance, SoD, and audit requirements
• Proven experience in project implementation, ideally in international S/4HANA programs
• Excellent analytical skills, communication, and stakeholder management competencies
• Fluent German and English language skills in writing and speaking
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed
