Description

The Specialty Business Information Delivery (BID) team at Capgemini enables data-driven decision-making across various departments by delivering trusted, timely, and actionable analytics. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will support the delivery and management of data, reports, and analytics across the organization, with work grounded in querying and integrating data from Mainframe/DB2 systems and Snowflake data warehouses.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and management of data, reports, and analytics across the organization
  • Gather, clean, and transform structured data
  • Develop basic to moderately advanced reports and dashboards
  • Implement guided and embedded analytics, as well as data-as-a-service capabilities
  • Partner with internal teams to gather requirements and ensure information delivery systems are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business objectives
  • Conduct basic exploratory data analysis (EDA)
  • Collect data from various sources and integrate and transform disparate datasets to create cohesive datasets for reports and dashboards
  • Assess data quality and apply data hygiene techniques to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Support data reliability by conducting quality checks, documenting data processes, and collaborating with more experienced analysts for peer review and data validation as needed
  • Participate in discussions with cross-functional business partners and teams to understand and collaborate on complex business objectives
  • Assist in influencing solution strategies and outcomes by leveraging a working knowledge of the business
  • Use foundational experience in data management or analysis to provide insights that support decision-making
  • Aid the adoption of insights delivery solution among business partners, including reporting, guided analytics, self-service, embedded, augmented, and data as a service capability
  • Coordinate with cross-functional technical teams including data governance, IT, data engineers and others to ensure data integrity and optimize data pipelines
  • Identify data quality issues and collaborate to resolve them
  • Stay informed about emerging reporting and data visualization methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Apply knowledge and continuous learning to improve own performance and the quality of work produced
  • Actively seek feedback from more experienced team members and engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and contribute effectively to team objectives
