Job Title: Team Leader Quality Control

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader Quality Control to join our team in Maintal. As a Team Leader Quality Control, you will be responsible for leading the quality control team in the special lubricants department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the quality control team in the special lubricants department
• Ensure timely and specification-conform quality control of raw materials, intermediate and finished products
• Release and block batches, and evaluate deviations
• Conduct and coordinate root cause analyses for quality deviations
• Develop and standardize analytical test methods
• Organize and continuously optimize laboratory processes and procedures
• Ensure calibration, maintenance, and availability of testing equipment
• Collaborate closely with production, research and development, and supply chain
• Support and accompany audits (e.g. ISO 9001, NSF)
• Participate in cross-functional projects for quality and process improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in natural or engineering sciences (e.g. chemistry, physics, materials science, process engineering) or technical training with further education (e.g. chemical technician/master) and extensive professional experience
• Several years of experience in quality control, preferably in the lubricant, chemical, or process industry
• In-depth knowledge of analytical test methods and quality management systems (ISO 9001)
• Experience in evaluating test results and making release decisions
• Knowledge of root cause analysis methods (Ishikawa, 5-Why)
• Good German and English language skills
• Structured, solution-oriented working style, and leadership and communication strength
